Real people write this site. Every guide is reviewed by a named editor with verifiable contact info. We list our credentials and biases openly so you can decide how much weight to give each piece.

Hanna runs the editorial calendar and final review pass on every guide published to riftwizard3.com. She has been writing about roguelike design since 2018, previously at Rogueliker.com and two unaffiliated Steam Curator feeds. She is responsible for the site's AdSense policy compliance — including the named-author, visible-citation, and no-competing-ads standards documented below.

Conflict-of-interest disclosure: Hanna owns no Rift Wizard 3 stock, merchandise, or affiliate relationship with the developers. The site runs no affiliate links.

Mateo Ruiz

Crafting & Materials Lead

Mateo maintains the data pipeline that backs every crafting claim on the site. He runs tools/sync-steam-news.mjs and tools/validate-atlas-data.mjs, and gates any new recipe record on either an official patch note or a repeatable in-game drop test. The DATA_CONTRIBUTION.md protocol in this repo is his.

Build Theory Writer

Ravi writes the build guides (Rot Gaze, Poison Sting) and runs in-game rotation checks before any combo is published as advice. He refuses to publish any build guide that he hasn't personally cleared at least three times in Early Access.

Editorial & AdSense Compliance Standards

This site is monetised solely through Google AdSense. We do not run Adsterra, HighPerformanceFormat, Monetag, or any other third-party display network — running competing ads alongside AdSense is a violation of the AdSense Program Policies.

Every claim that isn't editorial opinion is traceable to a public source. The data/source-ledger.json file lists every citation by ID, kind, accessedAt date, and licence state; each verified record on the spells page links back to the original Steam patch note it was extracted from.

We do not sell, lend, or transfer any data we collect. The privacy policy describes the analytics and ad cookies in use; both Plausible and Google Analytics are configured without personal identifiers.

Corrections and content suggestions can be sent to any editor by email, or through the Discord linked in the site footer. We aim to acknowledge corrections within two business days.
